Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by Shankar, which was released last year in theaters, ended up as a terrible disaster and also became a troll fest among netizens.
Now, according to a strong buzz, Shankar has started shooting the pending portions for Indian 3 with the help of Lyca Productions and Kamal Haasan. This project was initially believed to be shelved, but now, Shankar is putting in efforts to release it by the end of this year.

Indian 2 was earlier planned as a single-part movie, but due to length constraints, it was split into two parts, and Indian 2 was released last year, with a lead for part 3 at the end.
Even though most portions of Indian 3 were already shot, some crucial portions remain to be filmed, but after the terrible disaster of Indian 2, reports confirmed that Lyca Productions walked out of the project, and Indian 3 was shelved.

But now, buzz suggests that Shankar has again resumed the shooting of Indian 3 and believes that it will mark his comeback.

They believe that if it is released, it will further aggravate the hate for the movie.
