Man murdered in old city of Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man was murdered by unidentified persons near Rahat Hotel in Asifnagar around midnight on Sunday. The victim, identified as Mohd Qabulla alias Addu Khan, was allegedly bludgeoned to death following an argument.
According to the police, Qabulla was consuming alcohol along with a few acquaintances when the assailants confronted him. A heated argument reportedly broke out, after which he was attacked and killed.
Local residents who witnessed the incident alerted the police. The Asifnagar police reached the scene shortly after and began investigation. Officials said clues were collected from the crime scene, and CCTV footage from the area is being examined.
A previous enmity is suspected to have led to the murder. Investigators believe the victim may have known the attackers and could have arrived at the spot with them. All nearby police stations have been alerted as efforts continue to identify and apprehend the suspects.
