A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death in Asif Nagar on Sunday night, with the police suspecting that the incident stemmed from a drunken brawl.
The victim, identified as Kabla, who worked at a furniture shop, was reportedly attacked with knives and sustained multiple stab wounds. Police said he had defensive injuries on his hands, indicating he attempted to fight off his assailants.
Eyewitnesses stated that those involved in the altercation appeared to be intoxicated. The attackers have not yet been identified, and police are scanning CCTV footage from the area. A murder case has been registered and an investigation is ongoing.
