The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has begun summoning several high-profile celebrities and influencers as part of an ongoing investigation into a money laundering case linked to the promotion of illegal online betting platforms.
As per media reports, the ED has issued summons to 29 individuals, including popular film actors and social media personalities, for their alleged endorsement of platforms such as Junglee Rummy, A23, JeetWin, Parimatch, and Lotus365. These platforms are under scrutiny for alleged violations of the Public Gambling Act, 1867, and for facilitating large-scale financial irregularities.
Actor Rana Daggubati is Scheduled to appear on July 23, 2025, Followed by Prakash Raj on July 30, 2025.
Other celebrities, including Nidhi Agarwal, Ananya Nagalla, Sreemukhi, and several YouTubers like Harsha Sai and Bayya Sunny Yadav, are also expected to be called in the coming weeks.
