Here’s how the Hero Vida VX2 compares to its rivals like the Ola S1 X Gen 3, Honda QC1, Bajak Chetak 3001, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta S and Bounce Infiniti E1+

Hero Vx2 Life

What you’ll like:
⢠A well-priced scooter. Super cheap to acquire, with the lower variant costing under Rs 50,000 with BaaS
⢠Multiple charging options, including fast charging. Removable batteries can be charged via a 5-amp socket at home
⢠Decent performance with a top speed of 80 km/h and a 100 km real-world range on the Plus variant
⢠Feature kit includes all LED lighting, a 4.3-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity, connected tech and a USB-A charging port
⢠Conventional design that will appeal to a larger audience. Multiple funky colour options are also on offer
What you won’t:
⢠Quality levels need improvement. The charging socket & battery get flimsy flaps
⢠Low-speed ride isn’t plush due to the firm suspension setup
⢠The footwell area is not the most spacious for taller occupants. Handlebar tends to fiddle with your knees when taking a U-turn
⢠Limited service centre reach in tier-2 and tier-3 cities
Ola S1 x Gen 3

Honda Qc1

Bajaj chetak 3001

TVS iQube

Ather Rizta S

What you’ll like:
⢠Widest and longest seat of any contemporary scooter
⢠Neutral looks coupled with strong build quality
⢠34-litre underseat storage and an optional 22-litre frunk
⢠Features such as skid control, FallSafe, Google Maps, smartphone connectivity, ride modes, Twist regen, reverse gear, etc.
⢠Two battery options with adequate range for most commuters. 2,500+ fast charging points available
What you won’t:
⢠Performance is strictly commuter-oriented. Enthusiastic riders will be disappointed
⢠Quality of some of the plastics could be better
⢠Taller riders will find the handlebar fouling with their knees while turning
⢠Firm suspension may not be to everyone’s liking
Bounce Infinity E1+
