Asia’s only I4WDTA-certified off-road school recently celebrated 5 years, with a weekend full of rain, fun, adventure, discussions and celebrations

Event: Learn Offroad 5th Anniversary.
Date: 5th & 6th July 2025.
Learn Offroad is one of its kind 4WD schools, designed to turn everyday drivers into terrain-ready experts. From basics of 4×4 handling to advanced obstacle negotiation and vehicle recovery, it covers all. Safety, technique, and confidence form the pillars of Learn Offroad.
Day 1: As part of this year’s anniversary celebrations, Dr. Tejas was joined by another I4WDTA trainer, Mr. Bill Wheeler, from the US. He has over 20 years of experience in training the American military in off-road driving.
Mr Wheeler provided the students with a masterclass on how to safely recover a vehicle that has rolled over. From various checks to connecting straps, he went through each detail as how to recover the vehicle safely. Multiple points to consider were fuel leakage, if any, terrain around you, sharp edges, weight of the vehicle, etc.

Day 2: This day of the event had lectures from Dr. Tejas Kothari, Yokohama tyres, Goonda Energy, etc., Lucky draws, and finally the trail drive. The best part was overwhelming support from Dr. Tejas and his team guiding participants from steep inclines, to slush, and on to rocky terrain. All areas were covered. At the end, everyone was drenched and had their cars full of mud. No matter what and how you drive, the spirit of adventure and respect for fellow participants and nature is always seen in all events/courses held by Learn Offroad, keeping safety as the prime objective.
