Now, we have information about which processor the Galaxy A17 5G will use, as well as, its performance benchmarks, RAM capacity, and Android version, thanks to its listing on Geekbench (via Abhishek Yadav).
According to Geekbench, the Galaxy A17 5G will feature the Exynos 1380 SoC, the same chipset as the Galaxy A16 5G. It has the Mali-G68 GPU. The listing also reveals that the phone has 6GB RAM, which will be one of the memory configurations on offer, and that it runs on Android 15 (most likely with One UI 7.0). The phone has scored 942 points in the single-core and 2,137 points in the multi-core CPU test.

Samsung might be using the same chipset for the Galaxy A17 5G as it did for the Galaxy A16 5G as it may not have budget left to offer an upgrade after opting for OIS for the primary camera. While it is disappointing, the Exynos 1380 is a potent chipset, and if the brand launches the phone at a good price, the device may beat its rivals in terms of performance.
