Anirudh vs Sai Abhyankkar: Young composer gets trolled

Anirudh Ravichander has grown into a huge force in Indian Cinema, as he delivered huge blockbusters in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu in recent years. With his music, he is able to create huge buzz for Jailer, Jawan and Devara. Currently, his music for Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom have been big hits.

Mainly, Coolie songs like Chikitu Vibe, Monica, Powerhouse have been huge chartbusters all over. Even Anna ante song from Kingdom has been highly praised all over. Recently, young composer Sai Abhyankkar has delivered huge indie chartbusters – Katchi Sera, Aasa Kooda and others too.

He got opportunities to compose for films like Suriya’s Karuppu, Benz, Atlee’s film with Allu Arjun, and several others. So, the comparison between him and Anirudh Ravichander has been going around on social media. Even during Anirudh’s initial years, he got compared with Harris Jayaraj and AR Rahman.

As Anirudh is trending on top, the young composer is being compared with him. While Powerhouse became a trending sensation, Karuppu BGM did not bode well with listeners. So, the young composer is being trolled by Ani supporters on the social media. As the youngster is very new to films, maybe this comparsion is too harsh.

These sort of comparisons and trolls, do affect a person and their career as well. While expecting such responsibility or senstivity from trolls, it is easy to pull down someone while giving them a positive hope is difficult. Hope people would understand this and Abhyankkar comes back with better compositions.
