One of the major complaints against former Chief Minister Y S Jagan was his reluctance to give appointments to his own party MLAs. There were several reports of MLAs waiting for up to six months just to get an appointment with him. Shockingly, nearly 70 percent of the MLAs reportedly never got a chance to meet him throughout his five-year term.
In sharp contrast, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is actively engaging with his MLAs and closely assessing ground-level situations.
It has been just over a month since the formation of the NDA government, and Chandrababu is already in regular touch with his MLAs. Reports suggest that he has already met with 21 TDP MLAs and discussed the situation in their respective constituencies.
Chandrababu is said to be on a mission to meet every single TDP MLA in the coming weeks. He is not waiting until the end of the term to hold these reviews or collect last-minute reports before the election. Instead, he appears to be genuinely committed to improving local governance right from the beginning.
With the Chief Minister showing such dedication, it is reported that the MLAs are also motivated to perform well. He is said to be using detailed ground-level surveys and performance reports to point out the strengths and weaknesses of each MLA, helping them improve and deliver better results for their constituencies.
