Allu Arjun is currently juggling between Mumbai and Hyderabad as he gears up for his next big project, tentatively referred to as #AA22xA6, directed by Atlee. This marks the first collaboration between the Icon Star and the blockbuster Tamil filmmaker.
The film, touted to be a high-concept sci-fi thriller set in a parallel universe, is being shot primarily in Mumbai. A specially designed high-tech set has been constructed there for key portions of the film, requiring Arjun to travel frequently between the two cities.
Following the historic success of “Pushpa 2,” which became the first Hindi film to gross over Rs 700 crore in India, Allu Arjun has set his sights firmly on expanding his foothold in the North Indian market. He is reportedly taking keen interest in every detail to ensure #AA22xA6 appeals to a pan-India audience.
Deepika Padukone has officially been announced as the female lead through a special video teaser, while names like Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur are being speculated for the other heroine roles, as the film reportedly features five leading ladies.
#AA22xA6 to be made on a budget of Rs 800 crore is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
