VIJAYAWADA: A high-level 34-member delegation, comprising scientists from agricultural universities, experts from Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), and farmer mentor trainers from Kerala, is set to visit Andhra Pradesh from 26th to 29th July 2025 for an intensive exposure and training programme planned in Guntur on natural farming. This visit represents a key milestone in fostering interstate collaboration and knowledge exchange on natural farming practices under the banner of the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF).
Under NMNF, the Indo German Global Academy for Agro Ecology Research and Learning (IGGAARL) Academy, run by the AP government’s Rythu Sadhikara Samstha under the Andhra Pradesh Community Managed Natural Farming (APCNF) programme, has been recognised as a Centre of Natural Farming.
Over the course of four days, the Kerala delegation will receive in-depth knowledge on the APCNF models, principles, and field-level practices of APCNF being successfully implemented across the state in the classroom sessions. The team will also visit best practices and model fields of natural farming in different villages of Guntur and Prakasam districts, where they will interact directly with natural farming farmer groups, practitioners, and field-level facilitators.
