Second-Gen Hyundai Venue India Launch On October 28

Hyundai India is all set to launch the second generation Venue subcompact SUV on October 28. The launch of the all-new Venue comes over six years after the first generation was introduced in the Indian market. The new vehicle, which has been spied testing a multitude of times over the past months, is expected to feature styling cues in line with newer SUVs from the carmaker, while retaining some of its predecessor’s mechanicals.

Spy shots of the Venue point to a design in line with newer models from Hyundai

According to the previously captured spy shots, the front end of the new Venue will feature a split lighting setup, with a new full-width daytime-running lamp at the top, and vertically stacked headlight units that flank the grille. The lower lighting units also feature separate, angular daytime-running lamps. The new grille features pronounced rectangular accents, which is rather similar to the unit on the current version of the Creta. The silhouette of the Venue appears to have been hardly changed according to the images, although some images have hinted at softer body lines than the outgoing model. The rear end meanwhile, appears to get a new connected taillamp unit with new signatures.
