Actress Shruti Haasan says she doesn’t believe in the idea of “dream roles.” In a recent interaction, the actress revealed that while she has no specific dream role in mind, she has always wanted to play a musician on screen, reflecting her passion for music.
“There are no specific dream roles. I love music, and I’m also a musician. So naturally, I’ve always wanted to play a musician,” she shared.
Reflecting on her long and successful career, Shruti said she considers her journey in films a blessing.
“I think it is all a blessing. I’ve enjoyed the work. I never overthought the future. My success has always depended on how much justice a project does to me. That remains the same even today,” she said.
Shruti will next be seen in “Coolie,” which stars Rajinikanth in the lead. Speaking about the film, she said, “Coolie is a full entertainer. There’s a lot of amazing action, a solid story, and an emotional core. I’m sure audiences will thoroughly enjoy it.”
On future projects, the actress revealed she had been busy shooting for “Coolie” throughout last year and is now actively listening to new scripts.
