NIZAMABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Nizamabad district soon for his first official programmes in the area. The visit, initially proposed for July 27, has been rescheduled to the first week of August. For the convenience of party workers and the public, a public meeting will be held in Nizamabad.
A private-sector palm oil industry has been proposed in the district to support farmers and create employment for youth, with the unit planned in the Bodhan division. The Chief Minister’s programme was originally proposed in Bodhan town, but officials noted that mobilising people there would inconvenience attendees from distant areas.
Consequently, the public meeting has been shifted to Nizamabad, which is more accessible to Nizamabad Urban, Nizamabad Rural, Armoor, Balkonda, and Bodhan Assembly constituencies. Senior Congress MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy has been actively coordinating in Nizamabad Urban and Bodhan constituencies to make arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit.
