Hyderabad: The expert committee constituted by the Telangana govt has submitted its report on the Sigachi Industries explosion in Pashamylaram, which claimed 46 lives and left several others injured.The report is scheduled to be tabled before the state cabinet during its meeting on Monday. Headed by B Venkateshwar Rao, emeritus scientist at CSIR-IICT, the committee submitted its findings to the chief secretary two days ago. The report includes detailed observations on the cause of the explosion and recommendations to prevent such incidents in the future.The panel was tasked with determining the exact cause of the blast and assessing whether the industry had implemented adequate fire safety and emergency measures to protect lives.
