Kakinada: Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary has claimed that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has unearthed the Dubai-Hyderabad link in the liquor scam.
“All those involved in it will have to pay for it,” he told media at Rajamahendravaram on Sunday.
The TD MLA alleged that YSRC MP Midhun Reddy, one of the accused in the liquor scam, had earlier been involved in the PDS rice scam. He refuted charges by YSRC leaders that the alliance government is being vindictive. “State government is only going by the book,” he maintained.
Buchaiah Chowdary referred to the YSRC MP demanding certain comforts in the Central Prison. He reminded that when Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had been jailed as an opposition leader, no special facilities had been allowed.
“YSRC leaders began the game and the alliance government will end it,” the MLA remarked.
