Mainboard IPOs hitting the street
The IPO market is set to be in full swing in the coming week, with 5 mainboard issues gearing up to hit Dalal Street. What is adding to the buzz is the participation of NSDL, India’s oldest depository which has long been on investor watchlists. Here’s a breakdown of what each of these IPO –
1. NSDL IPO: Spotlight on the market veteran
National Securities Depository (NSDL) will finally open its much-awaited IPO on July 30, with bidding closing on August 1. The IPO is entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 5.01 crore shares, pegged at a total size of Rs 4,011.60 crore. The price band is Rs 760 to Rs 800 per share, and the anchor bidding is scheduled for July 29. ICICI Securities is the lead manager for the issue.
In the grey market, NSDL’s shares are reportedly trading at a premium of Rs 161, hinting at a possible listing near Rs 946, around 18% above the upper price band. However, investors should note that GMPs are unofficial and often volatile, influenced by demand and sentiment closer to listing.
2. Laxmi India Finance IPO
Opening on July 29 and closing on July 31, Laxmi India Finance is looking to raise Rs 254.26 crore. The offer includes a fresh issue of Rs 165.17 crore and an OFS of Rs 89.09 crore. The price band of the issue is set between Rs 150 to Rs 158 per share, and the stock is expected to be listed on August 5.
The GMP for this IPO is currently around Rs 18, translating to a tentative listing price of Rs 176, a 11.4% jump over the top end of the price range.
3. Aditya Infotech IPO
Another IPO opening on July 29 is Aditya Infotech, which will remain open till July 31. The company plans to raise Rs 1,300 crore, combining a fresh issue of Rs 500 crore and OFS worth Rs 800 crore. The price band is set between the range of Rs 640 to Rs 675.
In the grey market, the stock is commanding a premium of Rs 225, implying a potential listing at Rs 900, which is a 33.3% upside over the issue price.
4. Sri Lotus Developers IPO
Sri Lotus Developers will open its Rs 792 crore IPO on July 30 and close on August 1. This issue is entirely a fresh offering of 5.28 crore shares, priced between Rs 140 to Rs 150. Motilal Oswal is managing the issue, and the stock is expected to debut on August 6.
The shares are reportedly trading at a Rs 34 premium, suggesting a possible listing at Rs 184, nearly 23% above the IPO’s upper band.
5. M&B Engineering IPO
The Rs 650 crore IPO of M&B Engineering will also open on July 30 and close on August 1. The issue includes both fresh shares (Rs 275 crore) and an OFS of Rs 375 crore. The price band is in the range between Rs 366 to Rs 385, and the tentative listing date is August 6.
Though the GMP is relatively modest at Rs 40, it still hints at a possible 10.4% gain on listing, with the expected price floating around Rs 425.
SME IPOs hitting the street
While the mainboard IPOs are grabbing headlines, the SME space is not far behind. The coming week is set to be one of the busiest for the SME segment with 8 companies lined up to tap the market. Here is a snapshot of all SME IPOs opening –
1. Storage IPO
Repono is launching a fresh issue worth Rs 26.68 crore, offering 27.79 lakh shares. The IPO will open for bidding on July 28 and close on July 30. The price band is Rs 91 to Rs 96 per share, and it is a purely fresh issue, meaning the funds raised will go directly to the company.
2. Umiya Mobile IPO
Umiya Mobile, a fixed price IPO, is offering 37.70 lakh fresh shares to raise Rs 24.88 crore. The offer will also open on July 28 and close by July 30. The issue is priced at Rs 66 per share.
3. Kaytex Fabrics IPO
Kaytex Fabrics is raising a total of Rs 69.81 crore, combining a fresh issue of 31.99 lakh shares (Rs 57.59 crore) and an offer-for-sale of 6.79 lakh shares (Rs 12.23 crore). The IPO opens on July 29 and closes on July 31, with a price band of Rs 171 to Rs 180 per share.
4. B.D. Industries IPO
B.D. Industries will be raising Rs 45.36 crore via a fresh issue of 42 lakh shares. The IPO opens for bidding on July 30 and closes on August 1. The price band is between Rs 102 to Rs 108 per share. The listing is expected on August 6 on the BSE SME platform.
5. Mehul Colours IPO
The Mehul Colours IPO is a Rs 21.66 crore fresh issue, comprising 30.08 lakh shares. The subscription window will run from July 30 to August 1. Priced in the range of Rs 68 to Rs 72 per share, the listing is also expected on August 6 on BSE SME.
6. Takyon Networks IPO
Takyon Networks is coming out with a Rs 20.48 crore fresh issue of 37.92 lakh shares. The IPO opens on July 30 and ends on August 1, with a price band of Rs 51 to Rs 54 per share. Listing is scheduled on August 6 on BSE SME.
7. Cash Ur Drive Marketing IPO
Cash Ur Drive Marketing is launching a Rs 60.79 crore book-building issue. It opens on July 31 and closes on August 4, with a price band of Rs 123 to Rs 130 per share. Allotments are likely on August 5, with the listing on NSE SME set for August 7.
8. Renol Polychem
Renol Polychem is set to launch its Rs 25.77 crore SME IPO, entirely a fresh issue of 24.54 lakh shares, with a price band of Rs 100 to Rs 105 per share. The issue opens for subscription on July 31 and closes on August 4.
