Notification for 3 Vacant MPTC, 2 ZPTC and 2 Panchayat Seats has been issued on July 28.
Pulivendula, Ontimittu ZPTC seats will also go for polls. Kondapudi, Kadiyapulanka will have panchayat elections. The state election commission has stated that nominations will be accepted between July 30 and August 1.

On August 12, MPTC and ZPTC elections will be held. The results will be declared on August 14. The panchayat elections will be held on August 10. The results will be out on the same day.
Incidentally, local body elections will be held in both Telugu states soon. The High Court has said that the elections must be held before end of September in Telangana.

Meanwhile, in AP, the local body polls will be held soon. The alliance government is gearing up for state-wide polls and intends to win big.
The ministers, MLAs and cadre have already started going into people to spread the good performance of alliance government and highlight the failures of YSRCP.

The AP elections commission is working on the dates. Hence, the alliance leaders are prepping for the fight, which they feel is one-sided.
