Jaipur police confirmed the identity of Aamir, a Canadian national from Hyderabad, found unconscious on July 9. His family identified the body after a news report and seeks a detailed investigation.

Hyderabad: The Jaipur police have identified the man who died under suspicious circumstances in the Sindhi Camp police station area on July 9.
The deceased has been identified as Syed Qazi Mohiuddin, also known as Aamir, a resident of Falaknuma. Aamir was a Canadian national who had come to Hyderabad to visit his relatives.
According to family members, on July 3, Aamir left the city saying he would visit the Dargah of Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chishti at Ajmer. After missing his train, he decided to travel to Ajmer by bus.
Six days later, on July 9, he was found unconscious by police at a public place in the Sindhi Camp police station limits and later passed away. In an effort to ascertain his identity, Jaipur police had sought the help of Telangana Today newspaper.
A report was published in the July 21 (Monday) edition. After seeing the news, Aamir’s relatives approached the Sindhi Camp police station, identified him, and claimed the body.
The body was brought to Hyderabad, and the burial took place on Saturday night at Dargah Quadri Chaman. Aamir was related to the custodian of the Dargah Quadri Chaman at Falaknuma.
The family is awaiting a detailed investigation report from Jaipur police about the circumstances that led to Aamir’s death.
Police earlier stated that on July 8, Aamir had approached a shopkeeper, appeared drowsy, and asked for water. The next morning, he was found lying unconscious at a public place. The family members have requested Jaipur police to probe the case from all angles.
