As the running of the bike is much lower than usual, I have decided to go with the 5W30 MA (semi-synthetic) Honda engine oil.

4th service maintenance update / 8824 km up

The Honda CB 350 is a garage princess if I leave my hometown. Mostly used for local errands by my father. The bike has hardly clocked kilometers, looking back at the 3rd service (~ 6800 km). By now, all the free services from Honda are over. Below is the small cost breakup of the previous service costs:

  • 1st Service – ₹1560.18 (5W30 MA (semi synthetic) and no labour charges)
  • 2nd Service – ₹2043.31 (Fully Synthetic engine oil and no labour charges)
  • 3rd Service – ₹2277.76 (Fully Synthetic engine oil and no labour charges)

In the 4th service, as the bike was nearing ~9000 km, I decided to replace the air filter. Also, the front brake pads were nearing their lifetime (~80% worn out). I have decided to go for Honda organic brake pads. I initially thought about going for aftermarket ceramic brake pads but the squeaky noise reported while braking from the users made me stick with Honda OEM brake pads.

This time, as the running of the bike is much lower than usual, I have decided to go with the 5W30 MA (semi-synthetic) Honda engine oil. The paid service amount came up to ₹1100. The total amount for the 4th service came up to ₹4264.73 (including taxes).

Below is the total cost breakdown:
