Hyderabad: A man on Monday approached the Bachupally police, claiming that his wife conspired to kill him with the help of three others.With blood-soaked clothes, Ram Das, a daily-wage labourer, went to the police station and lodged a complaint against his wife and three unidentified persons.According to the complainant, he was near a wine shop when he was attacked on the head with beer bottles. Believing him to be dead, the attackers fled the scene. Later, he regained consciousness and approached the police officials.He had been living separately from his wife for the past two years. Just a week ago, elders from both families counselled the couple and made them stay together. However, they started to quarrel with each other.On Saturday night, allegedly on his wife’s instructions, Ram Das went out to buy liquor. It was then that the murder attempt was made, he alleged. Police registered a criminal case against three persons, including his wife.
