1 Held For Selling Duplicate Lubricants


WARANGAL: Task Force police officials caught a man involved in selling counterfeit lubricant oil and seized large quantities at a shop within Matwada Police Station limits in Hanamkonda on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media, task force ACP A. Madhusudhan said that, based on information from a credible source, the police raided SPARK LUBRICANTS, owned by 34-year-old Nakarakanti Muralidharan of Julywada, Hanamkonda.

At the shop, officers discovered counterfeit lubricant oil worth Rs 91,620, falsely branded as products of companies such as Tata Motors and Gulf. Another suspect, Danthuri Uday Kumar, a partner in the shop and resident of Rangashaipet in Warangal, remains at large, and a manhunt has been launched to arrest him.

The seized goods and the arrested individual have been handed over to the Matwada Police for further legal action.
