Diesel continues to keep me happy, although some parts are beginning to show age. Apart from some weekend runs, the car is parked most of the days unless I feel like taking it for a drive on an empty road away from the city and let it rip.
The brake rotors are end of life, and I am looking for non-OEM alternatives to replace them with; if not, I will stick to the stock ones, which are due next service. The coolant temp shows 2-3 degrees above the usual mark on normal driving, which probably means the coolant also needs to be replaced. The instrument cluster going dead is becoming more frequent, and every time I remove/reseat the fuse to fix it. As per fellow member and Ford cars pundit Jithin, the PCB or the instrument cluster itself has to be replaced. I need to check the availability of this, too.
The car has run around 54,700 km.
Pictures of the car parked with the boot loaded with some heavy stuff. This would have been the highest the suspension would have compressed.
