Bookings for the Hero Xoom 160 maxi-scooter have officially commenced across the country. The scooter was launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January, 2025. It’s available in a single variant, priced at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it takes on the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SXR 160. Deliveries of the model are expected to start by the end of next month (August, 2025).

The Hero Xoom 160 marks debut of an all-new 156cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering power worth 14bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.7Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This motor is benefited with Hero’s i3s Silent start-stop technology. It comes with a CVT gearbox.
Suspension, Brakes & Tyres:
The maxi-scooter features a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It has been assembled with 14-inch alloy wheels shod with dual purpose tyres. The Xoom 160 features front and rear disc brakes, supported by ABS (anti-lock braking system).
Design & Features:
The front fascia of the maxi-scooter appears aggressive with a sharp fairing, dual chamber LED headlamps and a tall visor. It comes with a single-piece seat and wide handlebars. In terms of features, the Hero Xoom 160 offers a digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, remote key ignition and remote seat opening.
Colour Options:
The maxi scooter is available in four colour options – Canyon Red, Summit White, Matte Volcanic Grey and Matte Rainforest Green.
