Mahindra & Mahindra continues to drop teasers of its upcoming four concepts SUVswhich are set to debut on 15th August, 2025. The concepts are named Mahindra Vision S, Mahindra Vision T, Mahindra Vision ST and Mahindra Vision SXT. The latest teaser of the Mahindra Vision SXT confirms earlier speculations suggesting it will be a Scorpio N-based pickup truck. The teaser shows its rear section featuring taillamps and dual spare wheels and dual opening for the tailgate.

Previous teasers revealed its flat bonnet design with sharp creases, a pronounced front bumper, side latches and angular flared wheel arches. The pickup truck will have a partially sealed-off headlamp area and a circular grille section. The Mahindra Vision SXT will be one of the brand’s new models to under an all-new Freedom NU platform, which is slated to debut with the SUV concepts on this Independence Day. This new architecture will be compatible to multiple powertrains including petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric.

Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Concept

Design:

Just so you know, the Mahindra Scorpio N based pickup concept was first showcased in South Africa during the company’s annual Independence Day extravaganza in 2023. Designed by Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS), the pickup concept features a newly-designed massive bash-plate bumper, a popped-out grille, a wide LED light bar at the front, and two hooks placed at the lower end of the bumper, snorkel for water-wading capability and a roof rack.

Design elements such as headlamps, fenders, bonnet and front doors appear similar to the Scorpio N SUV. As showcased in the latest teaser, the concept had two spare tyres in the load area along with pixel-like taillamps and two rear tow hooks.

Features:

The new Mahindra pickup truck is likely to have a futuristic cabin layout, packed with advanced features such as 5G-based connectivity, a sunroof, Level-2 ADAS and semi-automatic parking.

Engine Specs:

The Mahindra Scorpio N pickup concept has a Gen-II mHawk diesel engine with 4WD drivetrain system and shift-on-the-fly capability. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The pickup concept offers four drive modes – Normal, Mud-Rut, Grass-Gravel-Snow and Sand.
