Quick update
Completed 2 years of ownership with our Hycross VX Hybrid yesterday with an odo reading of 68,705 Kms. Will be completing 69,000 Kms tomorrow as we have a trip to do tomorrow. Experience with the car till date is so far so good. Got the insurance renewed a week ago and got to know from dad that he had paid around 28k from the Toyota itself, but haven’t checked the insurance copy yet, as I just landed back in town.
Now, the car needs tyre replacement as the stock tyres are at EOL, while the brake pads are still stock despite the car having run close to 70,000 Kms. Apart from that, the car needs an interior makeover as the seats are still stock, and the driver’s seat is on the verge of getting torn due to the heavy usage it has. And, a side footrest too, as my mom found it difficult to climb into the car, but dad is dead against getting one, as it spoils the looks, as per him.
