Telangana’s GCC vision spotlighted at 2nd GCC Leadership Conclave in Hyderabad


The 2nd GCC Leadership Conclave in Hyderabad, hosted by The Leadership Federation, brought together over 300 senior leaders from global businesses, government, and academia. With a focus on India’s Global Capability Centers (GCCs) evolving into strategic hubs of innovation, the event featured high-impact sessions on AI-driven transformation, leadership in the agentic era, and culture-building in modern enterprises.

Hyderabad: The 2nd GCC Leadership Conclave, hosted by The Leadership Federation in Hyderabad, convened over 300 senior leaders from global enterprises, government, academia, and innovation hubs.

Centered on the evolving role of India’s Global Capability Centers, the conclave explored how GCCs are transitioning from traditional support functions to engines of enterprise innovation, value creation, and economic growth.

In his keynote, Dr. Paul Roehrig, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, Ascendion delivered a compelling vision for the decade ahead stating, “India has the opportunity to cement its position as a global hub for innovation and excellence through a modern Global Capability Center network powered by AI.”

A standout session ‘Leading in the Agentic Era: GCCs as the Engines for Change,” featured conversations from leaders Sapna Grover (Microsoft), Srikanth Kamaraju (Adobe) and Dr. Dinesh Chandrashekhar (Centific) while another engaging session, ‘Human at the Helm: Culture, Curiosity & Capability’ had Navin Bishnoi (Marvell), Amar Shah (Diageo), Divesh Singla (Signant Health), and Pancham Taneja (Delta capita).

The Conclave also tackled business transformation head-on in the session ‘Writing the New ROI Playbook for AI-Powered GCCs’, with Anuprita Bhattacharya (Merck IT), Malahar Pinelli (7-Eleven), Manu Dhir (Stonex), and Shameel Sharma (PepsiCo).

Another panel, ‘Lessons from the Frontline: Winning Moves and Wrong Turns’ featured Vinod Vasudevan (Carrier), Piyush Bhatt (MetLife), Anil Mudugalla (Baxter), and Dinesh Murugesan (DSM). A fireside chat with Namita Adavi, Partner and Head of India GCC Consulting Practice at Zinnov, offered an incisive exploration of AI’s transformational potential in the GCC landscape.
