Hyderabad: A crocodile was found moving around in the Musi River bed at Chaitanyapuri, creating a scare among the local people.

According to reports, local people spotted the crocodile near the Shiva temple in Phanigiri Colony in Kothapet and alerted the police.

The police reached the spot and informed the forest officials. A team of forest officials visited the location and, after reviewing the situation, said they could do little to trap the crocodile while it was in the water. However, the forest department has put up banners warning people along the Musi River.

Earlier this week, a crocodile was spotted in the Musi River at Asad Baba Nagar, Kishanbagh. Locals stated that the crocodile was attacking goats that ventured into the Musi.
