Sithara Entertainments, renowned for delivering recent blockbusters, is gearing up for an ambitious new venture: Production No. 36, starring the acclaimed “Divine Star” Rishab Shetty. Known for the cinematic phenomenon Kantara, Shetty is set to headline a fictional historical action drama, marking a significant collaboration.
RIshab Shetty grew as a star hero in Kannada Industry after delivering blockbuster with Rakshit Shetty, Kirik Party. Rishab, started off his directorial career with Ricky, starring Rakshit and Kirik Party gave him opportunity to explore his skills as actor-director with Sarkaari Hiriya Praathamika Shaale, Kaasaragodu, Kodugé: Raamanna Ra and Kantara gave him Pan-India recognition.
He even won National Award for the film and now, he is bringing Kantara Chapter 1, Prequel to orginal film. So, he is getting offers from different film Industries but he is looking more towards Telugu producers. He accepted Jai Hanuman, directed by Prashanth Varma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and with Sithara Entertainments, he joined hands for this historical fiction.
This magnum opus will transport audiences to the turbulent Bengal province of 18th-century Bharat, a period ripe with the emergence of rebels. The film will be directed by the talented Ashwin Gangaraju, celebrated for his gripping storytelling, who is poised to deliver an even grander saga this time.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios, the project boasts a stellar team. The film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada, with a pan-India release planned in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.
