The new 2025 Volvo XC60 SUV has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 71.90 lakh, ex-showroom. It competes with the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLC in the luxury midsize SUV segment. The updated model comes with improved styling and feature upgrades, while the engine setup remains unchanged. Similar to its pre-facelift, the new XC60 will be locally assembled at Volvo’s Bengaluru facility.

Starting with the feature upgrades, the new Volvo XC60 offers a larger, freestanding 11.2-inch touchscreen, running on Qualcomn Snapdragon software. The SUV also gets a 12.3-inch driver’s display and a 15-speakers 1410W-Bowers and Wilkins audio system. The Nappa leather upholstery, dashboard with wood inlays and front seats with massaging function enhance its premium and comfort quotient.
Safety Features
For the safety provision, the new XC60 offers seven airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera and the Volvo Smart Safety Network (ADAS). The ADAS suite offers features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane and pilot assists cross-traffic alert with autobrake, etc.
New Colour & Design
On the exterior, the 2025 Volvo XC60 features a newly-designed grille with diagonal-slat, revised front bumper, new dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels and smoked tailllamps. The SUV lineup receives a new Forest Lake colour along with the Crystal White, Bright Dusk, Onyx Black, Vapour Grey and Denim Blue. The Platinum Grey shade has been removed from the colour palette.

The new Volvo XC60 derives power from the same 2.0L turbo petrol engine, paired to an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. This engine is boosted with a 48V mild hybrid technology. It dishes out a maximum power of 250bhp and 360Nm of torque. The SUV continues to come with AWD (all-wheel drive) system.
