CM acquitted in 2023 case over remarks against cops

Hyderabad: The Nampally criminal court on Thursday acquitted Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy in a 2023 case related to alleged objectionable remarks against the police in Nalgonda.The court ruled in his favour after the prosecution failed to substantiate the charges. At the time of the incident, Revanth Reddy was serving as the TPCC president. The Nalgonda II Town police had booked him for allegedly making statements that were seen as derogatory and damaging to the image of the police.
