Collector Unhappy With Poor Resolution To Dharani Woes

Nizamabad: District Collector T. Vinay Krishna Reddy expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of resolving Dharani land applications. He questioned the continued delays despite repeated instructions to prioritise these cases and directed officials to review and resolve applications daily with commitment and urgency.

On Friday, the Collector conducted surprise inspections at Navipet mandal headquarters. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised that all applications must be resolved within the stipulated deadlines. He reiterated that Dharani land applications are part of a prestigious government initiative and must be addressed without delay.

At the tahsildar’s office, the collector reviewed village-wise applications submitted during Dharani meetings, along with the tahsildar and other staff. He enquired about the number of applications resolved in each module, the pending ones, the number of notices issued, and the status of field-level inspections.

Earlier, at the Community Health Centre (CHC), the collector inspected the outpatient registration counter, laboratory, inpatient ward, vaccination room, and other departments. He checked staff attendance and assessed performance, facility maintenance, and the availability of medicines and other essentials.

He instructed health officials to provide round-the-clock services, increase the number of normal deliveries, organise health camps in all villages, and take preventive measures to control seasonal diseases.

At the Anganwadi centre, the collector inspected available facilities and recommended ensuring the provision of nutritious food for children and proper maintenance of the centre. He also visited Mandal Parishad Primary Schools in Navipet and Daryapur, where he checked the quality of mid-day meals. He instructed officials to ensure that meals match the prescribed menu and maintain hygiene standards.

Finally, he visited the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society’s fertiliser godown and private fertiliser outlets to check stock levels. He matched purchase and sale records with e-pass data and instructed that stock boards displaying fertiliser availability be placed at all godowns and sales centres.
