Every weekend, I managed to drive out in the rain. From KA, GA, and MH – Western Ghats have been my calling for the monsoon season. The destinations I covered ranged from Madikeri – CKM – Dandeli – Goa – Amboli/ Tilari – Bhandardhara!
Last weekend, I stretched it from Dandeli to Harischandragad – mixed with beautiful drives, a trek up the forts in pouring rain, and watching thousands of waterfalls on the roadside! The experience just cannot be explained in words. A pluviophile’s dream come true is such monsoon drives – sigh – the one with my TBHP buddies did not happen this year.
