India (IND) vs England (ENG) 5th Test Highlights: Karun Nair and Washington Sundar ensured that India didn’t lose any more wickets on a day in which rain and England’s pacers reigned supreme at the Oval. Karun scored his first half-century outside of his unbeaten triple century while Sundar finished on a score of 19 off 45 balls. They will resume on Day 2 on an overnight partnership of 51 off 88 balls.

The third session got off to a delayed start, as was the case with the first and second before it with rain hampering proceedings for a majority of the opening day of the fifth Test between India and England at the Oval. Early Lunch was taken due to a sudden downpour, after which early Tea had to be taken due to incessant drizzle. In the short second session, however, England got the big wicket of India captain Shubman Gillwho was run out going for a single that was never there by the bowler Gus Atkinson. His dismissal brought Karun nair into the middle to join Sai Sudharsan and the pair have continued for India in the third session.
