The new Tucson is expected to be a plug-in hybrid with an EV-only range of 100 km.
The all-new 2027 Hyundai Tucson has been caught testing in Europe, with the first spy shots of the SUV emerging online.
From the pictures, it appears that the new Tucson features a square nose, along with a flat bonnet and a vertical front fascia. The front fenders also have a square design, and it seems that the new model is moving away from the curvy design of the current car. The door frames also feature straight lines and a waistline that tapers upwards. Not much can be seen of the rear because of the camouflage, but it does appear to have a sloping angle.
The new Tucson is expected to be a plug-in hybrid with an EV-only range of 100 km. A diesel engine appears to have been ruled out.
Features-wise, the new Tucson will get Hyundai’s new Pleos infotainment system, which will incorporate the new Gleo AI assistant for improved in-car interactions. It will also get advanced ADAS systems, including Level 2+ hands-free driving capabilities.
