HYDERABAD: A panchayat secretary in Jagtial district was suspended for uploading chief minister A Revanth Reddy’s photograph in an attendance app instead of his live camera photo.The authorities noticed that the panchayat secretary, T Rajanna of Chandrayannpalli in Buggaram village, uploaded the CM’s photo. He was first issued a show cause notice on July 31 and then suspended on Friday, August 1, by district collector B Satyaprasad.According to rules, panchayat secretaries must be at the gram panchayat office by 7 am and give their attendance in the attendance app with their geo coordinates near the office. It was noticed that the panchayat secretary uploaded the CM’s photo instead of capturing his own live photo in the DSDR app to register his attendance.
