The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (APEPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of Eluru district on Saturday (August 2) to facilitate tree cutting and maintenance works on the 11 KV R.T.C feeder line.
In a press release issued on Friday, Executive Engineer K.M. Ambedkar said the outage will occur from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and will affect areas under the Ashok Nagar Substation. The impacted localities include Police Quarters, SP Office, Parade Ground area, Aminapet Etigattu, CSI Church and the area behind the Collector’s Office.
The shutdown is necessary to ensure safe and efficient maintenance of the power lines. Consumers residing in these areas are requested to make prior arrangements and cooperate with the department during the brief interruption.
