Last Sunday went for a quick drive on STRR. I started post lunch, road until STRR entry didn’t have much traffic and reached Hoskote toll rather quickly. Once on STRR, it was a breeze. I have travelled couple of times before and this time around could see more traffic .While the road surface is good, some sections are 4 lane and rest are 6. With increased traffic, had to slow down considerably due to trucks and slow moving vehicles, expect to get worse as traffic increases further.
While this is longer, I am contemplating to take this road to hit Nelamangala/Dabaspet for any upcoming journey. This is longer and will take more time too, but is less stressful compared to ORR and will be better for folks from Whitefield side on busy days like Friday evening.
Back to drive, I exited near Devanahalli and drove towards Nandi hills. Stopped at place which offers beautiful view of Nandi hills. Spent some time and clicked few pictures of the car. Thought of taking usual airport road back home, but then STRR with lesser traffic and long straights was a no brainer.
