Now the only pending item is a windshield, which I think will look nice on the motorcycle.

BHPian bblost recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

There is a very rare and very important mineral called Unobtainium.

To find and replenish, I need to spend days on the bike riding in the heat and cold. So no matter how much I hate riding, I have no choice but to keep doing it.

To make this pain a little BEARable… added some stuff to my new bike.

Lights

The Zana number plate mount caused the lights to be a little too high for my liking. So ended up using the Maddog mounts itself. The law needs lights to be below the headlight and I don’t want any trouble.

I chose these because they have 90% spot and I need them only for my highway usage. Installed the dimmer switch that lets me control the intensity as well.

Saddle Stay + Rear Rack

I arranged everything on my floor to check how it should be assembled.

But when I started removing the saree guard, the bolt decided to be a pain. It had been tightened so much that I even ended up breaking my spanner.

I finally put in a very small spanner on the nut behind it and kept tapping with my hammer. This got it free.

Needed to remove the pillion hand grip thing as these two would not sit with that in place.

Side Stand Extender

This was a lot of fun. I was working alone. The bike has no main stand. So I ended up sitting on the floor. Pushed the bike into the upright position and used my head as its support. Don’t do this. It’s a stupid idea.

Instead, move the bike to a pillar and use the seat to prop it up into an upright position.

Pending item now is a windscreen. I think it will look nice. But beyond that, I don’t really see much use for it.
