VF7 seats are wider and offer better under-thigh support compared to the VF6, but the VF6’s seats are also good.
BHPian vattyboy recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

- The ex-showroom price is not out yet but expected price as per SA for VF6 is 20.99 to 22.99 lakhs and for VF7 is 24.99 to 27.99 lakhs.
- Both the display cars in showroom are Left hand drive CBU’s directly imported from Vietnam, India bound will be RHD.
- Build quality is top notch, everything pretty solid and well put together. I can say this is JEEP Compass of Mid Size SUV EV segment.
- Door have good amount of weight and reassuring thud, I tried to press the panel and they were strong.
- Fit and finish is good, no inconsistent panel gaps inside or outside which i experienced in Mahindra EVs recently like bad stitching on leather wrapped steering wheel in BE6.
- When I looked at the car from the front and the side, ground clearance and height of the car looked very low to me. Then the SA informed me this Vietnam model a ground clearance of 150 mm but the one that will be launched in India will have an increased ground clearance of 190 mm. This says a lot about difference in road infrastructure between Vietnam and India.
VF6:
*Notice the area where AC and infotainment controls should be there, they’ve placed the gear selection modes instead, something I’m seeing for the first time.

- VF7 being the premium car has more soft touch materials inside the cabin.
- Cabin width is much wider in VF7.
- VF7 seats are wider and offer better under-thigh support compared to the VF6, but the VF6’s seats are also good, it’s not like they’re bad. However, when you sit in the VF7, they feel a little more spacious.
- Beige add Black combination of VF7 gives more airy feeling along with better space.
- The premiumness of cabin of the VF7 is immediately noticeable.
Legroom Comparison between the both:
VF6

I am 6ft. I set the front seats according to my height than went to the back seats and my knees were touching the front seats. Two 6ft people cant sit one behind the other, it’s impossible. Even two 5’8 can’t sit comfortably one behind the other.
VF7:

In VF7 the difference in space is H-U-G-E . Whether it’s legroom or cabin width which is not visible in pictures. Two 6′ 1 can sit one behind the other comfortably.
VF6:

- Plus variant has 198 BHP and 309 Nm and has a range of 381 km.
- VF7 will come in two varients – Eco variant has single electric motor powering the front wheels with 201 BHP and 310 Nm.
- Plus variant has a dual motor with AWD with 349 BHP and 500 Nm will do 0-100 in 5.8 secs. Both variants have 75.3 kWh battery and range of 450 km and 431 km respectively.
Conclusion:
I really liked both these VinFast cars.
If I ever decide to buy a VinFast, I will directly buy theVF7 because from what I saw today, VF7 is around 4-5 lakhs more expensive on-road than VF6 but it offer much better features/quality/space/power than VF6 and in my opinion those extra features are worth more than 4-5 lakhs making VF7 much better value for money product in long run.
You should only consider VF6 if your budget is tight and you have small kids in the family with no adults sitting at the back. But honestly even if your budget is tight, I will recommend to go for the base model of VF7 it would be the better choice.
