Megastar Chiranjeevi has been asked to be designated elderly figure in Telugu Cinema, after the death of Dasari Narayana Rao. He has been meeting politicians and discussing with Industry bigwigs about problems within and for the support from government. Now, producers have met him at his residence about Workers Strike.
Producers C. Kalyan, Supriya Yarlagadda, Allu Aravind, Mythri Ravi Shankar, and Suresh Babu have met him. After their discussion, C. Kalyan stated that Chiranjeevi asked the producers to not stop shootings immediately. He asked them time to meet Federation and Union representatives.
On the other hand, Telangana Cinematography Minister, Komatireddy Venkatreddy supported workers’ demands and stated that Hyderabad has been becoming expensive, hence Workers’ demands are justifiable. He stated that after Delhi tour, he will talk to producers and workers. He remarked that Government as asked Dil Raju to talk to both parties.
Chiranjeevi might also meet them in one or two days and then, he will take the matters into his hands to solve the issue amicably. With Government supporting workers, it looks like there will be more or less hand twisting for producers from Unions. We have to wait and see, how things will be solved.
