Hyderabad: Mohammed Fayaz, an Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Irrigation department in Circle-I of Mahabubnagar district, was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at a bakery opposite to Mahabubnagar One Town police station, when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.3,000 from the complainant.
The bribe was accepted to upload the Joint Inspection Report and NOC of plot in the official site of Land Regulation Scheme (LRS). The tainted bribe amount of Rs.3,000 was recovered from the possession of Fayaz.
In case of demand for bribe by any public servant, the ACB asked the public to contact its toll-free number 1064 for taking action as per law. The name and details of the victim/complainant will be kept secret.
