Vijay Deverakonda appeared before Enforcement Directorate, ED, for the inquiry after he received summons in promoting illegal betting apps. He stated to media that he did not promote betting apps but promoted A23 gaming app. He remarked that he told ED about the agreement he signed with the company.
He further stated that he never would encourage any sort of illegal activites and he is committed to his principles. He stated that ED asked him about the transactions with the company and his involvement. He stated that he clarified all the doubts and answered everything. He called these gaming apps are not illegal betting apps.
He reiterated that he did not commit any sort of illegal activity and did not encourage any betting apps as well. He stated that A23 is not allowed in Telangana and he had an agreement with the company about the ad being played in those places where such gaming apps are legal.
Vijay Deverakonda’s recent release Kingdom, ended up being another major disappointment from the actor. The movie took good opening on the first day but dropped on the second day.
