Nissan’s upcoming C-segment SUV has been spied testing in India for the first time. It is expected to be launched by mid-2026 as a rival to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and the like. The new midsize SUV from Nissan will share its underpinnings with the upcoming Renault Duster. The spy shots reveal a similar shape and details that resemble the official teaser that was put out by Nissan in 2024. A closer inspection of the camouflaged test mule reveals a flat-ish front fascia with a rectangular grille flanked by wraparound LED headlamps. The SUV has flared wheel arches that house 5-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, the Nissan C-segment SUV appears to have rectangular taillights, a raked rear windshield with a roof spoiler, roof rails, and a shark fin antenna. Reports suggest that the new C-segment SUV will be offered with a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine at launch. This unit is said to produce 152 BHP and 250 Nm and will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Features like all-wheel drive and ADAS are likely to be offered on select variants sold in the international market. Source:Shield Hero
