Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli has officially announced the date for the first reveal of his much-awaited film with Superstar Mahesh Babu. The first look will be unveiled in November 2025.
Tentatively called #SSMB29, the film now has another working title: #GlobeTrotter, aptly describing its globe-trotting adventure theme.
On the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s 50th birthday, Rajamouli dropped a striking teaser image without revealing the actor’s face. In the photo, Mahesh sports a V-neck shirt with a chain bearing Lord Shiva’s symbols, while blood trickles from his face to his chest. This is a simple yet captivating visual.
Rajamouli captioned the image, “The First Reveal in November 2025… #GlobeTrotter.”

“Dear Cinema Lovers in India and around the world, as well as fans of Mahesh,
It has been a while since we began shooting, and we appreciate your eagerness to know about the film. However, the story and scope of this film are so vast that I feel mere pictures or press conferences cannot do it justice.
We are currently working on something to showcase the essence, depth, and immersive world we are creating. This will be unveiled in November 2025, and we are trying to make it a NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN reveal. Thank you all for your patience. – SS Rajamouli”
#GlobeTrotter casts Mahesh Babu as a daring adventurer, with Priyanka Chopra as the female lead and Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role. The film is produced by KL Narayana, with music by MM Keeravani.
The production on #GlobeTrotter is underway. The makers have not locked any release date yet.
