Honda H’ness CB 350 first service: Very satisfied with the bike so far

The low end seems to have improved. The motorcycle can now be ridden in 2nd gear at 20-25 kmph.

1st Service Update

Completed my bike’s 1st Service on 28th July, with ODO on 507 Km. It’s just the regular oil change, chain lube, etc and was charged 2146 INR.

Service advisor was asking me to take the AMC, which is around 10,200 for 2 years, but I felt that was not VFM, considering you get only a savings of 500 or so, and I declined it.

There was a noise coming from under the bike whenever it went over broken roads or slowed down. Asked the service advisor to ride the bike and check. It turns out to be a loose bolt in the engine plate, which was fitted as an accessory. Fixed it then and there within a few minutes.x

After the service, I feel a noticeable change in the tractability of the bike in lower gears. The low end seems to have improved and now the bike can be ridden in 2nd gear at 20-25 Kmph speeds, without lugging the engine, which was not possible before the service.

The bike has been a hoot to ride in the moderate traffic which I encounter on the way to my office – fun to ride the bike.

Overall, very satisfied with the bike till now.
