Hyderabad: With heavy rainfall predicted for Tuesday, the Cyberabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory requesting companies and employees in the IT corridor and surrounding areas to plan for early logouts starting from 3 pm.
According to the advisory, the measure aims to prevent traffic gridlocks, ensure public safety, and facilitate the smooth movement of emergency services.
The police have recommended staggered logouts rather than mass exits to ease the load on major roads and junctions during peak rainfall hours.
“Early release will help reduce congestion and avoid the chaos caused by sudden downpours during rush hour. We request all employers to cooperate,” the advisory read.
The warning comes amid weather department alerts predicting intense showers accompanied by strong winds in the evening.
