Fast forward to July 2025, the dream to make it a different Verna had well and truly started to materialize.

Hi all,
First post and a detailed one.
Picked up the Verna 2018 (2019 TN Reg.) (1.6 VTVT SX – Fiery Red) used from a known source in April 2024.
ODO Reading – 17,xxx
Bone Stock with Company Service Record
Brought it down to Bangalore and subsequently a detailed service from Carmed. The urge to tune and make it enthusiast friendly arose after seeing the parked beasts (cars) at Carmed.
Fast forward to July 2025, the dream to make it a different Verna had well and truly started to materialize.
List of mods carried out:
- Complete Dechrome (Window beadings, Door Handles, Badges & Fog Light Casing)
- CF Dipped Mirror Cap
- RS Style Front Grille
- Blackout Roof
- Stage 1 ECU TUNE
- BMC Replacement Filter
- Catback Exhaust
- BBS Alloys (16 inch)
Future Mods / Suggestions:
Purpose – To improve handling and reduce the gap between the fender and the wheel
- Option 1 – Upgrade to 17 inch with low profile tyres 205/45 (Presently, 16inch 195/55)
- Option 2 – Dr Nano Lowering Springs (Approx 30-35mm drop) with stock 16inch tyres (195/55) or 16 inch tyres (205/50)
Very keen to get the lowering springs and stick to the stock tyre setup.
Need some advice as I’m concerned of the suspension parts (dampers) being worn out very soon with Option 2.
Majority of the usage is highway (70-30 split) in Bangalore as the house is near the Airport.
Have added the before & after photos for your views.
