HYDRAA removes illegal structures from FTL

HYDERABAD

The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has removed encroachments from Neknampur Chinna Cheruvu in Neknampur village, Gandipet mandal, Ranga Reddy district, on Tuesday.

Officials from HYDRAA carried out demolition of sheds constructed by Pooja Crafted Homes within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zones of the lake. The company had reportedly filled nearly 2.5 acres of the 9-acre lake with soil, laid internal roads, and erected unauthorised structures. HYDRAA not only razed these constructions but also removed the dumped soil using tippers and excavators restoring the encroached area to the lake.

The Irrigation Department officials lodged a complaint at the Narsingi Police Station against the owners of Pooja Crafted Homes. A case has been registered in this regard.
