Mahindra & Mahindra has released a teaser of an upcoming model, which appears to be a new version of the BE 6 born electric SUV. The teaser showcases the front fascia featuring illuminated LED headlamps and DRLs and a layered LED signature on the front bumper. It also reveals the sharply designed rear profile of the EV. Speculations suggest that it could be a new Matte Black Edition or an AWD (all-wheel drive) performance-oriented variant of the Mahindra BE 6.
If it turns out to be the Black Edition, the model is expected to receive a sportier all-black treatment inside and out. Contrasting ambient lighting will further enhance its cabin feel and appeal. The Mahindra BE 6 has a cockpit-like, driver focused interior with dual 12.3-inch floating screens, an augmented reality HUD (Head-up display), a new two-spoke and flat-bottom steering wheel.

BE 6 Features:
Mahindra has generously equipped the BE 6 with features such as a Dolby Atmos 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, dual zone climate control, an in-car camera, auto park assist, a panoramic sunroof with integrated multi-colour lighting patterns, powered driver’s seat with memory function, 5G connectivity with in-built Wi-Fi, 360-degree cameras, ambient lighting, 7 airbags, Level-2 ADAS and more.
Battery Packs & Range:
The Mahindra BE 6 is available with two battery pack options – a 59kWh and a 79kWh – delivering power worth 228bhp with 380Nm and 281bhp with 380Nm, respectively. The top-end variant of the EV is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.7 seconds. It comes with three drive modes – Range, Everyday and Race. The smaller battery pack promises an ARAI-certified range of 556km, while the larger battery offers 682km on a single charge.
